Lesson Plan Daily Idea --
This is a Monday - Saturday schedule. You will learn the new lesson on Monday and Wednesday. Saturday is a review day. Sunday is a rest day. You can adapt this to your schedule.
1 hour for the new lesson. 30 minutes (at least, if not more) for the review days.
Day 1 Study the new lesson. If you have time, start on drills and writing (please note: the FM Anniversary has you do this later in the manual so just study the lesson). Read and reread all the lesson.
Day 2 Reread, rewrite, take dictation, transcribe, etc. If you need to, reread or rewrite the entire lesson through. If you need to, go over it again. IF you feel you've studied this lesson enough, review past lessons.
Day 3 Read, write, take dictation and transcribe what you can on the new lesson you learned yesterday. (Similar to Day 2)
Day 4 Study the new lesson. If you have time, start on drills and writing (please note: the FM Anniversary has you do this later in the manual so just study the lesson).
Day 5: Similar to day 2. Continue on the current lesson. Study brief forms, phrases, abbreviations. Work on errors and mistakes from your studies (reading, writing, dictation, etc.,).
Day 6: Review the previous two lessons. Read, write, dictation, transcribe. Drill yourself on brief forms, phrases, etc.
Day 7 Rest day.

If you want to do something on Sunday, then read.
Start from the beginning of the manual, then read until you get to your current lesson or until you have read enough for that day.
When you have advanced further along, you may choose to read back a few lessons and read up to where you are studying. If you have extra time, go back to previous lessons and read.
You should be able to read shorthand just as fast as you can longhand. You may find yourself reading shorthand faster since you write it faster then long hand and it's more condensed.

With the anniversary small manual having only 36 units, this would only take 18 weeks, or 4 1/2 months.

Check off sheet. Maybe put the date somewhere on here to help keep you focused.
