Para 112. Because the new theorty to be presented is less then usual, a longer Drill on Prevous Assignments has been diven. This will only require about 10 minutes.
don't worry about the rules for the diphthong's, you will learn then soon enough. You may need to read the first 2 or 3 forms with the help of the transcript, but the remainder without help. Read the outlines at random. Back and forth, just glancing at the outlines in the book.

WRITING Write the first few entences in Paragraph 117. Read the shorthand and then write it. Try breaking it up into parts. Read and write each part a few times, so do the first part about 3 times, then the second part about 3 times. Then write the entire sentence
- Now that the holidays are near
- many people start to think of the toys
- they will get for boys and girls.
If you can't remember all the words because you are trying to remember the outlines too, do a few words at a time and increase as you practice writing. Do this with dictation if you are going to record and take down too. Say the word to yourself as you copy it. And since you are doing this if you don't know the meaning or the outline, you will receive no benefit from this. So make sure you know it well enough. You can continue with the rest of the reading practice. You do not need to write the word lists (unless you really want to and have finished the writing of the exercise).
