ETA: The board has changed since I first posted these ideas. I now use an attachment of a saved picture. A .jpg picture seems to work best. I just click on "add attachment" button, find the file, and click on insert and done.
Other ways that may work: I use Photobucket to upload images. You can use anything that gives you the (bracket)img(bracket) name of image here (bracket)/img(bracket).
To put in a scanned copy (like a page from your steno book to show your own handwriting) 1-scan the copy 2-convert to pdf 3-put in photo site 4-copy the img link 5-page the img link into the message box
ETA: I was using photobucket and didn't realize there was a change in how they do things. So, please look into that if you can.

I've been doing this 1-scan the copy and open it 2-paste into Paint then crop down 3-paste cropped copy into new document in Paint 4-save as JPG (the extension will be .jpg ) [note: remember where you save it ] 5-attach to post here these attachments, however, can only be enlarged by those logging into the group. If you view as a visitor, you can't see them. Some are easy to read, but others are difficult and so if you want to read them to enlarge them, you need to login as a member.

I've been doing this recently.
*take a picture with my cell phone camera (I have a 5mp so it works great) *e-mail to my e-mail on the computer *open *copy and paste in to Paint (or get it into Paint somehow) *save a JPG (the extension will be .jpg) (and remember where I saved it and if needed sort by last date saved) *attach to a post here (not using quick reply).
If you forget to attach, choosing to modify the message won't give you the option to attach, just click reply and attach.

With Windows 7 you can use the Snipping Tool to save as a .jpg file easily. I use the above method with my cell phone Take pic, e-mail to my personal e-mail, then:
I open it, I use the Snipping Tool to copy what I want Save as .JPG Attach to post here
What I do to find my latest pictures is I sort by Date and it bring up the most recent saved at the top.

Was trying to copy and paste this, but couldn't. I use the "Add Attachment" button in the upper right hand corner. Cannot do a quick reply for that.

In taptalk you can use the attachment key. It's the paperclip at the bottom. I changed which one I use, see the post below.

If you have a Pinterest account you can create a board there to store your attachment (temporarily or permanently). You can use a private board if you'd like or create a Gregg Shorthand board for the public to view.
PLEASE NOTE: Pinterest changed the way they allow users to do this. I guess to keep from copyright infringement. Even your own photos. You may be able to still do this, depending on the app or web browser you use.
After you take a picture (scan, etc.,), share the picture on your Pinterest board you've chosen to use. Please crop as needed prior to sharing it to Pinterest. Go to Pinterest. Open the pin and open into a website type to view the picture (this will take it out of Pinterest). Copy the URL address. This will be an http: type address.
Come into this Gregg Shorthand Message Board. Open or create the post you want to post this in. Click on the Insert Image button. In the "insert url" box, remove the http: because your copy of the url address will have that. Paste your URL address. Click on Insert Image.
If you're using a touch screen, just long press to copy and paste. Pressing the appropriate action. If you're using a mouse you can right click and choose copy and paste from the drop down menu. If you're using your keyboard, the Ctrl key an the C key (pressed at the same time) will copy and the Ctrl+V will paste.

In Windows, I noticed, some images you may need to click on to see better. They will open the screen to the attachment. Use your back button to go back to the thread.

Taptalk will allow you to from your phone (at least it will on my Android phone). So this is another option you can use. You can see the image above. I just wanted to specify this and bring this back up for those who are new. Some other Apps for Probards may allow you to add an image as well.

I can confirm that the Tapatalk app lets you upload images from the iPhone, too. (Word to the wise, the "original" size option is very large!)

Tap talk on Android I use the photo icon. I found this allows almost all photos to be uploaded. The paperclip icon didn't as it would say some are too large or just not upload them. But it is another option.

Save to your desktop computer. Then add as an attachment.

If you've uploaded something, please see if you can find the post and try with another source or way to upload photos. I added an ETA in the first post, but want to bring this back up.
