Par 227, 278. You are al ready familiar with 'under' and 'over' as brief forms, therefore these may be read rapidly. Note 'under' with 'misunder-' and with a preceding pronoun.
Par 287. this article entitled "safety" is included here as a interesting experiment. If you come across a word you don't know, just refer to the transcript. You may surprise yourself with what you can read (especially if you've been reading to almost fluency on previous assignments). Many teachers have always held that if an occasional word is given ahead of the presentation of the principle under which it is written the student will profit by learning these things almost incidentally. some words you will find in this lesson are not presented until later assignments, don't worry. Just read. You will learn them in the reading and writing and later in the lesson.
Homework Read the assignment Write the assignment Transcribe the assignment (book/and or your notes) Take dictation from any recorded material you have from this or previous assignments. Read the drill at the end of the book.
