Par 383. You may wonder why the 'fl' is written without an angel in 'inflict' and written with an angle in 'conflict'. the most satisfactory answer is "because it is easier to read that way." Plus you will find that the angle is written to avoid having three reverse curves without an angle.
There is only one more group of prefixes and suffixes in the next assignment.
Par 390 and 391 for dictation may be used for warm up or cool down of other material. Meaning: SLOW dictation. These are difficult to develop the fluence and ease of writing which must be of first importance at this stage of the work. When used for reading and copying they develop the pupil's vocabulary and his general shorthand ability.

Par 390 and 391 .... When used for reading and copying they develop the pupil's vocabulary and his general shorthand ability. These might be good to read before and after each lesson. Maybe when you want to "study" shorthand but don't want to write or take dictation. Just read through them a few times. Might also be good for a TEST. See how far you can get without any key or pausing. Maybe time yourself.
