Hi everyone! I just joined this group and am hoping to learn the anniversary Gregg shorthand with all of you! I started out with the Diamond Jubilee some time ago, but let it drop and I am interesting in learning any type of Gregg. This should be fun! Jinny3

Hi Debbi, I wish to learn Gregg Shorthand, though I have learned Pitman's but it really slow me down during dictation cause light or dark, over or on or through the line, lots of rules. I got a PDF of Anniversary Edition and completed five units. Hoping that I can write at speed of hundred words a minute and get help here to achieve that.
Things happen in life, I know. That's why I had this as an opened ended class soy you could pick up where you left off when you had "real life" things come up. It's more freeing. The Learn in a Month class was for those who need structure. Some are finding that working well. For those who aren't, keep going.
A variation on a quote I love is "you're not behind, start where you are." Think of that. Just pick up where you left off.
"Gregg Shorthand had achieved the most extraordinary success ever attained by any system in the history of shorthand." John Robert Gregg, 1922
